Lord Mars is in Aquarius from 07 Mar 09 to 15 Apr 09

Posted by 9grah on March 7, 2009

This is Lord Mars in Aquarius: cool, angry, furious and perhaps in denial.

Today Lord Mars enters Aquarius at 16:33 – in Aquarius Mars is the Visionary as the planet of drive and energy (Mars) enters the sign of innovation and social justice (Aquarius). Mars in Aquarius is better at creating strategies and brilliant new plans for getting things done, and not as good at the practical applications that are required to carry out the plan.

Mars is a motivator, and this transit has him in unconventional Aquarius through mid-March. Mars instigates things that go beyond the usual, in search of solutions that turn future ideas into the reality of today. Mars is titillated by cool glamour, eccentricity, and those who speak their minds.

Remember, Mars’ sign by transit shows how people will respond to anger in others or how they will respond when angered themselves. Mars shows how we express our energies in general— and anger is a manifestation of energy. Mars in Aquarius is plagued with CONTRARINESS! People, including ourselves, will do just the opposite when annoyed or provoked. Not much can be accomplished when tempers flare and Mars is influenced by this willful sign! Try not to tap into this type of energy when you sense that others are being uncooperative. It can snowball into outdoing each other with uncooperativeness.

It can be a little difficult to understand exactly what makes a Mars in Aquarius native tick. And that’s absolutely fine with them—they enjoy surprising people. The tried-and-true methods of getting things done are far too boring for those born with Mars in this unique and original sign. Mars in Aquarius natives often have a rather original view of the world as well.

These natives are generally quite proud of their independence. They are not easily pushed around with Mars in this fixed sign. Because Aquarius is progressive and open-minded when it comes to the world at large, it can be surprising that on a personal level, Mars in Aquarius natives can be quite obstinate. If they feel boxed in, they are quite likely to rebel. If you’ve discovered a pattern to their ways, they’ll make sure they aren’t so predictable the next time around. Being seen as “normal” simply won’t do!

With Mars, the planet of energy and drive, in an Air sign, these individuals get off on mental and intellectual pursuits. Aquarius is a somewhat scattered sign, even though it’s persevering in the long haul. If there’s a method to their madness, it isn’t always easy to see. Projects are taken on with a shotgun-style approach with this position of Mars.

Mars in Air signs are generally quite clever at getting what they want; in Aquarius, they are particularly adept at getting their way. While this is not an overtly aggressive position of Mars (Aquarius has a manner that is far too detached to come across too forcefully), it is very willful. Combine willfulness with the cleverness of an Air sign, and you have a person who is quite creative about getting what they want—which generally is getting their way! Unlike with Mars in Aries or Leo natives, for example, you won’t always know you’re being dominated by a Mars in Aquarius native!

One of the most pleasant characteristics of Mars in Aquarius natives is their willingness to let others be. They place a lot of value in freedom and individuality—theirs and yours. They need space to be themselves and plenty of room to breathe. Generally not the touchy-feely types, these natives often laugh at sentimentality and tradition. In personal relationships, their approach to intimacy is definitely on the detached side, which can be baffling and frustrating to more personal and affectionate personalities.

Of all the personal planets in the sign of Aquarius, Mars placed here can show the strongest “reformer” streak. The Aquarian ideal of equality works big time with this position, and the desire to push their agenda on others (usually in creative, rather than aggressive, ways) runs high. Obstinacy and a superiority complex are this position’s least desirable traits; openness to new ways of doing things (as long as they’re not forced upon them) is where they shine.

Lord Venus is retrograde in Pisces from 06 Mar 09 to 18 Apr 09

Posted by 9grah on March 6, 2009

March 06, 2009 at 22:48 Venus moves retrograde at 15 degrees of Aries moving direct April 18th, 2009 at 00:55 at 29 Degrees of Pisces.

The retrograde motion of an inner planet is an apparent phenomenon as viewed from earth in which Venus appears to move backwards in the sky. Every 1 ½ years, when Venus moves approximately 29 degrees ahead of the Sun (in the astrological ephemeris), it will begin to move backwards in the sky until it reaches a point approximately 21 to 29 degrees behind the Sun.

This Venus Retrograde will for sure move us from passion and impulsive bravery into the wonderful land of imagination and what could be.

In general, Venus, the goddess of love, rules feelings and emotion, aesthetics and tastes, relationships, fashions and all forms of desire, money and wealth. Venus rules social attitudes and behaviour, along with aesthetic tastes and inclinations. Venus symbolises female relationships and social interactions at every level. Venus indicates our values. She governs romance, marriage and other partnerships, capacity for humour, and the pursuit of pleasure.

During a retrograde period the things Venus influences will be less apparent, or be of less concern to the world. Visual sensibilities are reduced. People dress with less flair and our colour sense tends to be muted. This is not the time to purchase clothes or jewellery, change one’s make-up or hairstyle. Redecorating or refurbishing homes or business should also be avoided, though there is no reason why decisions that have been made earlier should not be allowed to come to fruition during this period.
With Venus retrograde, the pace of relationships slows down, so this is not the best time to get married or give big parties. Since Venus rules diplomacy, slowdowns in all sorts of negotiations can be expected, including industrial disputes, legal issues and diplomatic endeavours. Unresolved issues from the past will come forward and demand resolution.

It is a time when we are called upon to go back and take care of unfinished business. Often we are forced to deal with deep feelings that have their origins in past events. They are activated on an inner level but are often difficult to express to ourselves or others while Venus is retrograde.

When Venus is retrograde, it provides lessons in evaluating the real worth and value of people and things in our life (Taurus-Libra issues). With existing relationships, this cycle produces experiences wherein it is easier to discern the relative worth and value of these people in your life.

Discrimination is more effective. You become readily aware of any problems, differences or unresolved issues. It is NOT a time, however, to act upon any unfavourable awareness. It is purely a time of evaluation rather than direct action. As little frictions and disagreements crop up, they serve to remind you that the relationship is not perfect. Under the retrograde influence, you must assess the severity of the problem and the “cost-benefit” of the relationship. Only after Venus turns direct should you initiate any alienation if this is deemed necessary.

Where there are existing difficulties in a relationship, the retrograde Venus period offers an opportunity for reconciliation. People are often feeling unloved, unappreciated and disappointed while Venus is retrograde. They feel that they should be getting more out of their relationships. This is particularly true when Venus transits the 7th and 12th Houses. When a person is in a mood that makes them feel that nobody cares, it is an excellent time to make a “hat-in-hand” apology to restore a relationship with someone who is hurt. Any sincere apology will be graciously received.

Being the natural ruler of the 2nd House, Venus has dominion over certain financial affairs. This is NOT a good time for investing or starting new financial activities. The value of the product or commodity is often inflated or over-valued so that losses will occur when Venus turns direct.

While Venus is retrograde, it is not a time to purchase any so-called luxury items. You will be motivated by impractical considerations so that, what looks gorgeous in the store, may turn out to be the ugliest thing you have ever seen once Venus turns direct! The inclination is to purchase items that you will not like and you cannot return. No discussion of Venus retrograde would be complete without mentioning my redheaded friend who bought a purple coat (on sale – could not be returned) while Venus was retrograde. Another man signed a lease on an apartment with a gorgeous sunken living room. So enamoured of its beauty was this man that he did not consider the long-term financial strain. This retrograde does have excellent financial benefits if you know how to use them. First, because people are motivated by impractical considerations in making purchases, it is the perfect time to unload something that no one would buy except when Venus is retrograde. Someone is sure to see its inner beauty and feel that they cannot live without it. They may regret it later but that is not your problem. Working with the inflated value of this Venus transit makes this an excellent time to unload stocks, real estate and unwanted items. Then, use the money gained to pay off debts.

Venus retrograde is an excellent time for buying antiques, flea market items and second-hand goods wherein you know the real worth and value of the item but the seller does not.

Years ago when I first studied astrology, I warned my parents about spending excessively on an antiquing trip when Venus was retrograde. To my surprise, they came back with the best bargains! They discovered many valuable antiques with very low prices because the seller did not know their value. Purchasing real estate is not always a problem with Venus retrograde. If you know that the property is a bargain, you can make an excellent deal. Discrimination is essential. Do not be motivated by a flashy appearance.

Venus retrograde is a favourable time for re-negotiating a financial situation such as a contract or bank loan. It can be helpful in resolving a long-standing legal matter. When Venus is station (around the retrograde/direct dates), it is a good time to change lawyers.

This is a time to reflect on the inner value of your experiences rather than outer display. Material rewards may be delayed and material or possessions that you expect to acquire may not manifest. A luxury item purchased may not please you in the long run. Relationships started now will be associated with inhibitions – clandestine or possibly more spiritual. Something may be withheld and, if so, someone will be disappointed. Existing relationships may be up for review. Outer assurances and displays of love and affection are not readily evident. Old friends and lost loves may be contacted for a second look.

In this article, I have tried to give you full real effect of retrograde Venus. I hope you have enjoyed it. Please do not forget to send me your experience to Kundlee, so Kundlee can become more precious and useful to society.

Relationship from Kundlee (Horoscope)

Posted by 9grah on February 12, 2009

When people ask about relationships, they are normally inquiring about the type of people they are likely to attract if they are single, or inquiring about the person they are currently in a relationship with.

Many are surprised to discover that the answer to this question has a lot to do with the type of behaviour or personality characteristics they are showing or projecting to others.

Modern astrology teaches us that within our psychological makeup there exists a natural counter-balance. What we project outwards to others is counterbalanced by the qualities that we seek in others and draw back towards ourselves. If we show or display certain qualities to others, then, as a consequence, we also attract certain qualities from others that are the mirror image of these.

The interesting fact revealed by the horoscope is that this natural counterbalance works on the principle of opposites – we attract from others the opposite of what we show others.

For example if you normally behave in an aggressive or assertive manner, then you are likely to attract into your circle of intimate friends, people who offer you diplomacy and cooperation. If you behave in a way that is mostly physical and practical, and judge life purely by factual observation, then you are likely to attract people who are very sensitive and emotional, intuitive and deep.

The part of your horoscope that shows the type of qualities and behaviour that you show others – your outer personality, is called the ascendant or the rising sign. These terms are synonymous.
The part of your chart that shows the type of qualities and behaviour that you attract and unconsciously seek in others is called the descendant.

These two points – the Ascendant and the descendant, are the two polarities on the relationship axis. This is the axis of relating, and contains within it the energies concerned with projection and attraction.

Aries Ascendant and Libra Descendant

To understand what are the qualities of these two polarities you simply look to see what signs of the zodiac are shown there.

If you have an accurate time of birth your horoscope will show what type of behaviour and personality characteristics you typically show to other people; and your horoscope will also show what, as a consequence to this, you attract or unconsciously seek in others.

The behaviour you show to others is shown by the sign on the Ascendant (first house cusp), and also influenced by any planets in the first house. The qualities you attract are show by the sign on the Descendant, which is the opposite house cusp (the seventh house), and influenced by any planets in that house.

If you have your own horoscope you will notice that the ascendant is the point where your first house begins, at about nine o’clock on the horoscope wheel. Your descendant is the beginning of the seventh house, at about three o’clock on the Kundlee.

For instance, if your ascendant happens to be Capricorn, then the type of people you attract will have characteristics of the opposite sign, which is Cancer. If the sign on the ascendant is Aries, then the type of people you attract will exhibit characteristics of the opposite sign, which is Libra.

Cancer Ascendant and Capricorn Descendant

An understanding of the elements is also useful in understanding the relationship axis. The four elements: air, fire, earth and water relate to communication, action, practicality and emotion respectively.

Air signs are always counter-balanced by fire signs. The air signs are Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Fire signs are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.

Earth signs are always counter-balanced by water signs. The earth signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. The water signs are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

However it is important to realise that the signs on your relationship axis may not correspond to your ‘sun sign’.

Mercury retrograde from 26 May to 19 Jun 2008

Posted by 9grah on June 2, 2008

Here we go again… Mercury goes retrograde once again. It happens 3 times a year and it lasts for about 3 weeks. This time is from May 27 to June 19, 2008. Then from September 24 to October 15, 2008 and then from January 11, 2009 to February 1, 2009.

This is an important period, and we should be aware of the effects associated with this astrological influence. Since it is so often, we must learn what it means and how to take advantage of it.

Astronomical background

There is no real backwards movement of Mercury; it’s just that we see it this way from Earth, because of the combined movement of the Earth and Mercury around the Sun. However, astrologically this is very relevant.

General influence of Mercury retrograde

Mercury rules over the mind’s processes, studying, communication, businesses, travels and the like. When Mercury reverses its direction, all these areas are affected as well.

The mind turns naturally inwards and people tend to analyze more the own thoughts and follow the common thinking patterns, rather then be curious and eager of new intellectual experiences or challenges. This helps the meditation or the thorough lonely long-term study of a specific matter, but it affects the study of new subjects, the communication with the others, the attention oriented outwards.

Businesses, travels and communications tend to experience delays and different problems. Computers and other processes that work with information may experience crashes, unexpected failures.

Don’t enroll to courses, don’t buy expensive Mercurian items (books, cars, mobile phones etc.), don’t sign important contracts and do not marry.

What is this Mercury retrograde period good for?

It is definitely a very good period for some actions. No time is completely bad for anything, there is a reason in everything happens.

The key is the reversed direction of movement: take any known Mercurian action, reverse its flow, consider the keywords “re-doing something”, “double-checking”, “finish the old projects” and there you are, you’ve found the good side of Mercury retrograde.

For instance, you may want to read again a book you particularly liked, a subject you studied before, meet and discuss with old friends you haven’t met for a long time, travel to places you’ve already been to before.

This is an excellent time to work on old projects that never got to be finished. So, think about the things you started and never finalized.

Next, you might wish to prevent any bad things to happen to you: so double-check your agenda, call your business partners to confirm that everything goes as planned, have everything ready before the deadline and leave some extra time for unexpected events. Make copies of your important files and documents, save your work more often.
The other solution is to go on vacation or at least slow down the pace of your projects. You will find that going slowly during the Mercury retrograde period will spare you many efforts of redoing the same action that wasn’t performed right the first time.

Above all, be generous and compassionate: you are already aware about the influence of this period, but the others aren’t aware of it or there may be uncontrollable events. That’s why you should have more diligence with the others and give them some more time. It’ll be your mental health that you’ll be sparing actually.

Rahu-Ketu Transit (Move)

Posted by 9grah on May 10, 2008

You must be experiencing changes in life right now, because this year May 2008 is the very important month for the Big planets, like Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu-Ketu.

I have already post two articles for Saturn and Jupiter. Now let me give you article from the Great Vedic Astrologer Komilla Shutton. She has published her article in her useful website http://www.komilla.com/. Enjoy the real knowledge of Vedic Astrology from Komilla. I have given below article word to word from her website, so if you have got any question regarding her article please contact her. You can find her information from our other useful website http://www.astrologerdirectory.net/.

“Rahu Ketu Transit from 30 April 2008 to 13 November 2009, in Capricorn Cancer:
Rahu Ketu move into the Capricorn Cancer axis on 30 April 2008 and will remain there till 13Nov 2009. This brings a relief from Ketu’s tough connection with Saturn in Leo but there are new challenges as well as opportunities ahead in the Capricorn Cancer Axis. Ketu will transit over the Gandanta degree between Leo and Cancer bring some difficult issues to light around 1st May. It will also lead to far reaching changes in people’s life. this degree was crossed by Saturn in November 2006 and July 2007 with tough outcomes for some. This Ketu transit may not be easy for especially if there are planets placed on these Gandanta points.

Rahu and Jupiter conjunction on 12 Feb 2009 closely followed by Mars Rahu conjunction on 15 February at 14º Capricorn will define this transit. Jupiter will be debilitated while Mars is exalted. 14º Capricorn is a highly sensitive degree as this is connected to the degrees of two of the solar eclipses of this axis. The solar eclipse of 1 August 2008 is at 15º33 Cancer and of 26 January 2009 is at 12º30 Capricorn. This conjunction can bring either a major crisis point in the world – last time Rahu Jupiter conjuncted – it was during the First Gulf War – maybe this conjunction can bring an end to the second Gulf War. These conjunctions take place immediately after the taking of office of the new US President, so it may suggest that he/she would take some decisive steps towards ending the Iraq situation.

The other main story of Capricorn Cancer axis is – Capricorn is the sign of Business and usually Saturn will control the excesses of Rahu and this can bring a positive result for cautious investors. Ketu transiting over Cancer – the main significator of housing – will bring further turmoil into the housing area. Cancer’s element is water- so we can expect stormy weather conditions as the heat of Ketu hits the water energy of Cancer. There can also be confusion regarding property market and generally people will not feel satisfied.

How this transit effects you

The area where Ketu is transiting is the more difficult one to deal with. Ketu bring s forth karmic problems and is a time for paying back karmic debts. Rahu will give and promote during its transits. With the nodes one has to be careful not to give into their excesses and always remember that they deal with past karma – they can surprise you with what they bring forward.

Ketu in Cancer shows that emotions can be your vulnerable point and Ketu will reject your emotional needs, so this can be a tough transit. Try to stay calm and don’t ignore the work you must do. If you have planets in Cancer then Ketu can create crisis connected to the karaka or the house rulership of the planets it is transit over. This usually leads to long term change in your life. The nodes will transit through the nakshatras of Ashlesha (for the first 8 months), then Pushya (the next 6 months), and finally Punarvasu (the last 2 months), each bringing its own subtle influence.

Rahu in Capricorn feels more at home as Capricorn disciplines the Rahu energy and, in the process, forces you to be more realistic about life. Saturn is the slowest moving planet and will most likely stay in the same sign throughout the entire nodal transit. On of the problems that we face during this Capricorn transit is that Saturn its ruler is transiting the 8th house from itself- therefore not giving the full positive impact of this Rahu Transit. Saturn in the 8th from Rahu transit will give some aspect of insecurity or changes in the house where Rahu is transiting at present for you. When Saturn changes to Virgo in September 2009- this will improve the quality of the Rahu transit in Capricorn as Saturn moves into the 9th house from Rahu. This may be the time you get the rewards of this Rahu transit. The Nakshatra Dhanishta (for the first 4 months), Shravana (the next 8 months) and Uttara Phalguni (the final 6 months), will also influence the subconscious.

This axis is probably the toughest one to experience. The relative relationship between the Moon and Saturn keeps changing on a daily basis creating many emotional disturbances. It can seem as if your life is in eclipse through a non-understanding of your own emotional issues. But unless this transit replicates your own birth axis, you will be able to control these issues by remaining aware of the potential.

The eclipses are going through Capricorn and Cancer – so if these are your signs expect some turbulence and changes in your life. They need not be negative but will bring transformation.

For Gemini and Sagittarius Lagna- this axis runs through their 2nd and 8th house axis and will transit the 22nd Drekkana that can create problems- especially for health.

For Gemini and Sagittarius Moon- this axis will travel through the 64th Navamsha and can create transformation, health problems and general insecurities regarding life.

Last but not least, Thanks to Komilla Shutton for her extra ordinery useful article.

Guru, the Great Grah (Planet) Movement and Transit

Posted by 9grah on April 21, 2008

From now I will describe the movement of the Planets, so we can arrange our Future for better Present!!

Everyone who knows littlebit of Astrology, must know the imporatnce of Great Grah (planet) Jupiter and Saturn.

Let us start with the Great Grah Jupiter.

Jupiter entered in Dhan Rashi (Sagittarius Sign) on 22 November, 2007. Sagittarian, Aries, Geminine and Leo is tasting the Very good results. Aquariun, Piecian and Libran has also taste good result. On other hand Taurian, Cancerian and Scorpian has suffered after that move of Jupiter, especially who has retrogate Jupiter in the horoscope.

Now Guru Maharaj is becoming retrogate from 09 May, 2008 and it will remain retrogate in Dhan Rashi until 08 September, 2008.

Question is who will benefited and who will suffer?

First of all the person who has retrogate Guru in the birth horoscope, will have a VERY VERY GOOD TIME. They will get so many opportunity, it will again depends on their own Horoscope strength. I mean the person, who will have Panch Mahapurush yoga (Planet in their own sign in center four houses (1st-4th-7th and 10th) and has retrogate Jupiter in birth horoscope, will get maximum benefit.

But the person who has not retrogate Jupiter and has a powerful Jupiter will suffer most.

Other major Rashi will suffer are Sagittariun, Arian, Geminin, Leo, Aquarian and Libran. So for them just one healthy tip.

DO NOT TAKE ANY FINACIAL DECISION. AVOID BORROWING. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DEBT, DO NOT INCREASE MORE.

Please send me your detail and experience so we can go more in detail.
