Mercury is in Pisces from 22 March, 2009 to 06 April, 2009

Posted by 9grah on March 22, 2009

Lord Mercury entering Pisces is one of those run-for-the-hills combinations. In Pisces, Lord Mercury is both in its detriment and in its fall, so it is doubly debilitated. Lord Mercury is very strong in the opposite sign of Virgo, where it is both exalted and in its own sign. Therefore, it will be very weak in Pisces. Pisces is an amorphous, fertile sign, which is antithetical to Lord Mercury’s logical nature.

Also, Lord Jupiter is such an expansive sign, that Lord Mercury is quite lost in the signs ruled by Lord Jupiter (Lord Mercury is also in its detriment in Lord Jupiter’s other sign, Sagittarius). Lord Mercury in Pisces is something like electing an accountant to be priest. It just wouldn’t work. It is true that Lord Mercury is a son of great Lord Jupiter, but Lord Jupiter never agree with that truth and abandoned his son. On other side Lord Mercury never forget to give high respect to his father Lord Jupiter. Now this tragedy is Good or Bad for the person who has Lord Mercury in Pisces in Kundlee. Good, if the person concentrate on Art and Music with full dedication and obey full advice and instruction of his/her Guru or Master, he/she can become a genius in their field. Bad, if the person follow opposite, get the opposite result. Now again this is basic outcome, to predict perfectly, astrologer needs to consider the other things as well, like other planets, the Ascendant, etc.

If Lord Mercury is in Pisces in your Kundlee, you’re about to have a Lord Mercury return. Let me know if this coincides with anything interesting happening for you. I have not yet observed Lord Mercury returns to be powerful in my own chart, or those of my clients, but I am always open to new information. Lord Mercury is not well placed in Pisces house, but it does not necessarily doom you to a life of inarticulate expression, despite what a few ancient astrologers say. Hopefully, Lord Mercury is aspected by a strong planet or conjunct a strong fixed star, to help pull it out of the soup.

If Lord Mercury rules an important house in your Kundlee, Lord Mercury’s passage to Pisces would be a good time not do anything related to that house. E.g. If Lord Mercury rules your second house of money, this is probably not the time to invest, but you may be stuck with doing your taxes since it is that time of the year. If that is the case, have somebody else do your taxes. Somebody whose second house is not ruled by Lord Mercury, preferably. All you will have to do is sign on the dotted line, and even with Lord Mercury misbehaving, that should not be too problematic.

Relationship from Kundlee (Horoscope)

Posted by 9grah on February 12, 2009

When people ask about relationships, they are normally inquiring about the type of people they are likely to attract if they are single, or inquiring about the person they are currently in a relationship with.

Many are surprised to discover that the answer to this question has a lot to do with the type of behaviour or personality characteristics they are showing or projecting to others.

Modern astrology teaches us that within our psychological makeup there exists a natural counter-balance. What we project outwards to others is counterbalanced by the qualities that we seek in others and draw back towards ourselves. If we show or display certain qualities to others, then, as a consequence, we also attract certain qualities from others that are the mirror image of these.

The interesting fact revealed by the horoscope is that this natural counterbalance works on the principle of opposites – we attract from others the opposite of what we show others.

For example if you normally behave in an aggressive or assertive manner, then you are likely to attract into your circle of intimate friends, people who offer you diplomacy and cooperation. If you behave in a way that is mostly physical and practical, and judge life purely by factual observation, then you are likely to attract people who are very sensitive and emotional, intuitive and deep.

The part of your horoscope that shows the type of qualities and behaviour that you show others – your outer personality, is called the ascendant or the rising sign. These terms are synonymous.
The part of your chart that shows the type of qualities and behaviour that you attract and unconsciously seek in others is called the descendant.

These two points – the Ascendant and the descendant, are the two polarities on the relationship axis. This is the axis of relating, and contains within it the energies concerned with projection and attraction.

Aries Ascendant and Libra Descendant

To understand what are the qualities of these two polarities you simply look to see what signs of the zodiac are shown there.

If you have an accurate time of birth your horoscope will show what type of behaviour and personality characteristics you typically show to other people; and your horoscope will also show what, as a consequence to this, you attract or unconsciously seek in others.

The behaviour you show to others is shown by the sign on the Ascendant (first house cusp), and also influenced by any planets in the first house. The qualities you attract are show by the sign on the Descendant, which is the opposite house cusp (the seventh house), and influenced by any planets in that house.

If you have your own horoscope you will notice that the ascendant is the point where your first house begins, at about nine o’clock on the horoscope wheel. Your descendant is the beginning of the seventh house, at about three o’clock on the Kundlee.

For instance, if your ascendant happens to be Capricorn, then the type of people you attract will have characteristics of the opposite sign, which is Cancer. If the sign on the ascendant is Aries, then the type of people you attract will exhibit characteristics of the opposite sign, which is Libra.

Cancer Ascendant and Capricorn Descendant

An understanding of the elements is also useful in understanding the relationship axis. The four elements: air, fire, earth and water relate to communication, action, practicality and emotion respectively.

Air signs are always counter-balanced by fire signs. The air signs are Gemini, Libra and Aquarius. Fire signs are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.

Earth signs are always counter-balanced by water signs. The earth signs are Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. The water signs are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces.

However it is important to realise that the signs on your relationship axis may not correspond to your ‘sun sign’.

First Eclipse 2009 and Astrological effects

Posted by 9grah on January 23, 2009

When is an eclipse really over?
Most of you probably know that we’ve just been going to face Solar eclipse on 26 January 2009, and the Lunar eclipse occurred on 09 February 2009. These eclipses are going to be happen in Cancer sign (and opposite Capricorn sign). The eclipses may will go, but they’re certainly not forgettable. Eclipses affect us from the date of the eclipse to the date of the next eclipses, five months later!

Before we look at how (and where) eclipses affect us, lets take a moment to explore what an eclipse actually is. Eclipses occur whenever there is a New Moon or a Full Moon that occurs along the plane of the ecliptic (the apparent path of the Sun around the Earth, but actually the path of the Earth around the Sun). During a Solar Eclipse, the Moon gets between the Sun and the Earth, and casts its shadow on the Earth, blocking out the Sun for a few minutes. During a Lunar Eclipse, the Earth gets between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the Moon. Solar eclipses occur during New Moons, and Lunar Eclipses occur during Full Moons.

The Moon’s Nodes are the transiting eclipse points. Whenever there is a lunation (a New or Full Moon) within 17 degrees of the Moons Nodes, we have an eclipse. Eclipses always occur in pairs (Solar-Lunar or Lunar-Solar) and sometimes, there are three eclipses in a row (Solar-Lunar-Solar or Lunar-Solar-Lunar).

So, how do eclipses impact our natal charts?
Eclipses always mean crisis. Now, crisis is not necessarily a bad thing; however, wherever an eclipse falls in your chart is an area of life that is going to undergo some change, or at least require more of your time and attention than usual for the next five months or so.

Solar eclipses are far more important then Lunar Eclipses. The house where the Solar Eclipse falls in your chart will be the main focus of crisis for the next five months. The house where the Lunar Eclipse falls (usually the opposite house) will be a secondary area of crisis. Since opposing houses are so closely related, however, it’s often easiest to consider the pair of houses as a unit.

1st House—7th House:
If the eclipses occurred in your 1st/7th houses, the focus for the next five months will be on your relationships.

:~: The 1st house is our sense of self; it is who we are as individuals. Eclipses in the 1st house usually signal a period of personal development and growth.

:~: The 7th house is how we relate to other individuals. Naturally, when we ourselves change, this also changes how we relate to other individuals. Eclipses in the 7th house also signal a period of personal development and change; the main difference is that we experience the crises and the need to change as if it were coming from outside ourselves, because we project our 7th house on other people. No matter how it appears, it’s never about the other person. It’s always our own stuff.

2nd House—8th House:
If the eclipses occurred in your 2nd/8th houses, the focus for the next five months will be on your resources.

:~: The 2nd house is the house of our personal resources; our possessions, our skills, our talents, and our finances. An eclipse in the 2nd house will always make us more aware of our attachments: the things that we believe that we cannot survive without. Since most of us are very attached to money, this may be a time to reevaluate and explore your relationship with money.

:~: The 8th house is the house of other people’s resources, joint finances, taxes and inheritances. An eclipse in the 8th house makes us aware of our responsibilities to others: both physical and emotional. Its often an indication that it’s time to explore what truly belongs to us, and what belongs to our partners.

3rd House—9th House:
If the eclipses occurred in your 3rd/9th houses, the focus for the next five months will be on your relationship to the world.

:~: The 3rd house relates to our personal domain: the places and things that we are the most familiar with. The 3rd house also relates to our communication and to our personal, individual spiritual practices. An eclipse in the 3rd house often forces us to reevaluate the things we take for granted, and become more aware of how we communicate with ourselves and with others.

:~: The 9th house relates to unfamiliar environments: foreign countries, new ideas and philosophies, and organized religion. An eclipse in the 9th house causes us to consider the bigger picture of our lives. How do we want to grow and expand?

4th House—10th House:
If the eclipses occurred in your 4th/10th houses, the focus on the next five months will be on balancing your private live with your public life.

:~: The 4th house relates to our private lives: our home, our family, and our emotional and spiritual connections to our ancestors and heritage. An eclipse in the 4th house can often indicate a time of family crisis.

:~: Of course, since an eclipse in the 4th house often means an eclipse in the 10th house as well, that crisis may have a lot to do with balancing the demands of your career or public life with the needs of your family and private life.

5th House—11th House:
If the eclipses occurred in your 5th house/11th house, the focus on the next five months will be on issues of individual expression and group participation.

:~: The 5th house relates to the things that make us feel special and worthy as individuals. It’s the house of our creative expression, and includes children, gambling, and love affairs. Eclipses in the 5th house can stir up the creative urge, or represent changes in our relationships with our children or with our casual romantic partners.

:~: The 11th house is the house of friendships; this is the house of group participation and shared creativity. Eclipses in the 11th house can often indicate changes in our relationships with our peers and our friends.

6th House—12th House:
If the eclipses occurred in your 6th house/12th house, the focus on the next five months will be on your health, both physical and spiritual.

:~: The 6th house contains all of the things we need to do on a daily basis to maintain a physical body: food, exercise, nutrition, and our daily routine, including our jobs. Eclipses in the 6th house often indicate changes in our routines, and it’s important to be aware of your physical needs to avoid illness.

:~: The 12th house contains all of the things we need to do on a daily basis to maintain a soul. The 12th house is where we meditate, and explore our unconscious. Eclipses in the 12th house often indicate that you will need to spend more time alone, in your personal spiritual practices.

Rahu-Ketu Transit (Move)

Posted by 9grah on May 10, 2008

You must be experiencing changes in life right now, because this year May 2008 is the very important month for the Big planets, like Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu-Ketu.

I have already post two articles for Saturn and Jupiter. Now let me give you article from the Great Vedic Astrologer Komilla Shutton. She has published her article in her useful website http://www.komilla.com/. Enjoy the real knowledge of Vedic Astrology from Komilla. I have given below article word to word from her website, so if you have got any question regarding her article please contact her. You can find her information from our other useful website http://www.astrologerdirectory.net/.

“Rahu Ketu Transit from 30 April 2008 to 13 November 2009, in Capricorn Cancer:
Rahu Ketu move into the Capricorn Cancer axis on 30 April 2008 and will remain there till 13Nov 2009. This brings a relief from Ketu’s tough connection with Saturn in Leo but there are new challenges as well as opportunities ahead in the Capricorn Cancer Axis. Ketu will transit over the Gandanta degree between Leo and Cancer bring some difficult issues to light around 1st May. It will also lead to far reaching changes in people’s life. this degree was crossed by Saturn in November 2006 and July 2007 with tough outcomes for some. This Ketu transit may not be easy for especially if there are planets placed on these Gandanta points.

Rahu and Jupiter conjunction on 12 Feb 2009 closely followed by Mars Rahu conjunction on 15 February at 14º Capricorn will define this transit. Jupiter will be debilitated while Mars is exalted. 14º Capricorn is a highly sensitive degree as this is connected to the degrees of two of the solar eclipses of this axis. The solar eclipse of 1 August 2008 is at 15º33 Cancer and of 26 January 2009 is at 12º30 Capricorn. This conjunction can bring either a major crisis point in the world – last time Rahu Jupiter conjuncted – it was during the First Gulf War – maybe this conjunction can bring an end to the second Gulf War. These conjunctions take place immediately after the taking of office of the new US President, so it may suggest that he/she would take some decisive steps towards ending the Iraq situation.

The other main story of Capricorn Cancer axis is – Capricorn is the sign of Business and usually Saturn will control the excesses of Rahu and this can bring a positive result for cautious investors. Ketu transiting over Cancer – the main significator of housing – will bring further turmoil into the housing area. Cancer’s element is water- so we can expect stormy weather conditions as the heat of Ketu hits the water energy of Cancer. There can also be confusion regarding property market and generally people will not feel satisfied.

How this transit effects you

The area where Ketu is transiting is the more difficult one to deal with. Ketu bring s forth karmic problems and is a time for paying back karmic debts. Rahu will give and promote during its transits. With the nodes one has to be careful not to give into their excesses and always remember that they deal with past karma – they can surprise you with what they bring forward.

Ketu in Cancer shows that emotions can be your vulnerable point and Ketu will reject your emotional needs, so this can be a tough transit. Try to stay calm and don’t ignore the work you must do. If you have planets in Cancer then Ketu can create crisis connected to the karaka or the house rulership of the planets it is transit over. This usually leads to long term change in your life. The nodes will transit through the nakshatras of Ashlesha (for the first 8 months), then Pushya (the next 6 months), and finally Punarvasu (the last 2 months), each bringing its own subtle influence.

Rahu in Capricorn feels more at home as Capricorn disciplines the Rahu energy and, in the process, forces you to be more realistic about life. Saturn is the slowest moving planet and will most likely stay in the same sign throughout the entire nodal transit. On of the problems that we face during this Capricorn transit is that Saturn its ruler is transiting the 8th house from itself- therefore not giving the full positive impact of this Rahu Transit. Saturn in the 8th from Rahu transit will give some aspect of insecurity or changes in the house where Rahu is transiting at present for you. When Saturn changes to Virgo in September 2009- this will improve the quality of the Rahu transit in Capricorn as Saturn moves into the 9th house from Rahu. This may be the time you get the rewards of this Rahu transit. The Nakshatra Dhanishta (for the first 4 months), Shravana (the next 8 months) and Uttara Phalguni (the final 6 months), will also influence the subconscious.

This axis is probably the toughest one to experience. The relative relationship between the Moon and Saturn keeps changing on a daily basis creating many emotional disturbances. It can seem as if your life is in eclipse through a non-understanding of your own emotional issues. But unless this transit replicates your own birth axis, you will be able to control these issues by remaining aware of the potential.

The eclipses are going through Capricorn and Cancer – so if these are your signs expect some turbulence and changes in your life. They need not be negative but will bring transformation.

For Gemini and Sagittarius Lagna- this axis runs through their 2nd and 8th house axis and will transit the 22nd Drekkana that can create problems- especially for health.

For Gemini and Sagittarius Moon- this axis will travel through the 64th Navamsha and can create transformation, health problems and general insecurities regarding life.

Last but not least, Thanks to Komilla Shutton for her extra ordinery useful article.

Who will become Rich?

Posted by 9grah on May 5, 2008

There is no doubt a person will become rich if he has:

1) Will to set goals
2) Intelligent planning to reach the goal
3) Hard working nature to execute the plan

But these are not enough to become rich. There is one more element that is luck. We can find thousands of people with the above mentioned qualities, yet lagging behind in life. The reason is lack of luck. What is luck? It is the effect of good deeds done previously either in this life or in previous birth.

How can we astrologically judge a person has sufficient luck to become rich? First of all, the person should have potentiality to set goals for himself. This can be judged from Ascendant and Ascendant lord. Next, the person should be intelligent enough to carry out the planning. This can be found from 5th house, and its lord. The place of wealth is 2nd house and its lord is giver of wealth. Finally, whether we gain profits and amass wealth is indicated by 11th house and its lord. For all these things to happen, we need luck. This is adjudged from 9th house and its lord.

So then what are the important astrological combinations which make a man rich?

1. Relation between Ascendant and 11th lords, either by combination or by aspects. This is called ‘Lakshmi Yoga’ by Indian astrologers, which is a symbol of a rich man.
2. Relation between 5th and 9th lords. If they are strong and in benefice places the person will be more wealthy.
3. Relation between 2nd lord and 11th lord by way of aspects or combination. If they are placed in quadrants or trines or in exaltation, the person will be equal to ‘Kubera’, the god of wealth.
4. Relation between 5th, 9th and 11th lords or Bhava.
For example, the above all combinations can be seen in the world’s richest person: Bill Gates horoscope.
5. Ascendant, 2nd and 11th houses are aspected respectively by their owners or occupied by their owners.
6. Ascendant lord having relation with 2nd and 9th lords.
For example the above two combinations can be seen in RockFeller’s horoscope.
7. Ascendant in 2nd house, 2nd lord in 11th house, and 11th lord in 2nd house – is called Dhana Yoga, means a good combination for wealth.
8. Ascendant lord and 2nd lord exchange their places.
9. 9th and 10th lords combine either in 9th house or 10th house.
10. 9th lord and 11th lords exchange their houses.
11. Benefice in quadrants and trines, where as malefic in 3-6-11 houses is said to make a person a king.
12. Ascendant or Ascendant lord is aspected by several benefice.

These are only some of the important combinations mentioned in standard texts. There are other combinations. But any how the places 1-5-9-11 and their lords greatly influence a person to acquire wealth. For example, in the horoscope of Indian Steel king and one of the richest people in the world, JRD Tata, we can find the following combinations:

§ 5th and 9th houses are aspected by Jupiter, the most benefice planet.
§ 5th , 9th and 11th lords in quadrants.
§ 2nd and 11th lords have mutual aspects.
§ 2nd and 5th lords combine.

Guru, the Great Grah (Planet) Movement and Transit

Posted by 9grah on April 21, 2008

From now I will describe the movement of the Planets, so we can arrange our Future for better Present!!

Everyone who knows littlebit of Astrology, must know the imporatnce of Great Grah (planet) Jupiter and Saturn.

Let us start with the Great Grah Jupiter.

Jupiter entered in Dhan Rashi (Sagittarius Sign) on 22 November, 2007. Sagittarian, Aries, Geminine and Leo is tasting the Very good results. Aquariun, Piecian and Libran has also taste good result. On other hand Taurian, Cancerian and Scorpian has suffered after that move of Jupiter, especially who has retrogate Jupiter in the horoscope.

Now Guru Maharaj is becoming retrogate from 09 May, 2008 and it will remain retrogate in Dhan Rashi until 08 September, 2008.

Question is who will benefited and who will suffer?

First of all the person who has retrogate Guru in the birth horoscope, will have a VERY VERY GOOD TIME. They will get so many opportunity, it will again depends on their own Horoscope strength. I mean the person, who will have Panch Mahapurush yoga (Planet in their own sign in center four houses (1st-4th-7th and 10th) and has retrogate Jupiter in birth horoscope, will get maximum benefit.

But the person who has not retrogate Jupiter and has a powerful Jupiter will suffer most.

Other major Rashi will suffer are Sagittariun, Arian, Geminin, Leo, Aquarian and Libran. So for them just one healthy tip.

DO NOT TAKE ANY FINACIAL DECISION. AVOID BORROWING. IF YOU HAVE ALREADY DEBT, DO NOT INCREASE MORE.

Please send me your detail and experience so we can go more in detail.

Foreign Travel. Is it possible?

Posted by 9grah on April 5, 2008

People of Countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka are mostly dreaming to go to aborad to make make life more prosporous and better. I am getting many questions from my clients regarding the possibility to go to abroad.

During my research I found one of the useful article for the persons who knows littlebit Hindu Vedic astrology.

Travelling to new places, meeting new people either for purpose of business or just for pleasure helps gains knowledge and broaden our horizons and perspective. It makes us wiser. For a long time now, Indians have chosen to go abroad for the same of employment – to avail of opportunities for professional satisfaction and to make more money. Arguably this trend is reversing in the last few years as the economy revives in India but visiting other countries is still considered as desirable and a source of excitement for a lot of people.

There are various reasons why people move from one place to another:

· Journeys within a geographical region due to nature of work – what we colloquially call “travelling job”.

· Business travel to a foreign land.

· Tourism or pilgrimage.

· Change is residence due to profession or after marriage if the spouse is settled in a different place.

Astrologically, the rules to be considered for predicting travel are:

· 12th House: In a horoscope, 12th house shows separation. Malefic influences on 12th house make a person wander from place to place.

· 3rd and 9th House: While 4th house represents comfort of a house, 3rd and 9th being 12th (causing separation) and 6th (alien-ness) from 4th denote journeys. 3rd house should be considered for short journeys and 9th for long journeys. I think this is due to the fact that from 9th house we also look at religion and hence pilgrimages, which usually were very long in olden times. Moreover, malefic influences on 4th house, by way of occupation will make one leave his/her birth place, i.e. travel to a foreign location.

· 7th House: A lot of sages have mentioned in their works that residence in foreign countries should be looked at from seventh house.

· Movable and Watery signs: Position of lords of above mentioned houses in these signs indicates travel.

· Rahu and Saturn: These planets influence travel in their dasha and antardasha. Rahu signifies the foreign element in the chart, something that is unconventional and out of ordinary.

· Sun: While positioned in any of the houses – 3rd, 7th, 9th and 12th, Sun influences journeys.

To understand the conditions that lead to foreign travel, combinations between these planets and houses are important. Ascendant lord in moveable or watery sign along with 9th and/or 12th house lord would indicate foreign travel. Combinations with 3rd house lord would indicate short travels instead of long, overseas travel.

Influence of 7th house lord is necessary for settling in a foreign country. Influence of Rahu or other malefic planets on 4th would give the same result by causing estrangement and would show a person leaving the comforts of residence. These combinations along with other combination of journeys would mean a one way ticket to a foreign country. Correspondingly, beneficial influences on 4th house in combination with 9th house would indicate increased attachment with the original place of residence and the person would come back home.

The timing of journey is always governed by 9th or 12th house lords and planets influencing these houses either though aspect or occupation of the house. Influence of lord of difficult houses – 6th house and in particular 8th house would indicate problems with travel, e.g. an unfavourable Mars in a chart in this scenario would indicate possible accidents while travelling.
